Take Pride In Ageing is a conference focusing on the lived experiences of older lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people from the 1940s onwards. The event will give older people who identify as LGBT the opportunity to express their hopes for the future.

The conference will feature:

  • How to meet the needs of older LGBT people in adult health & social care.

  • Promoting awareness of the needs of older LGBT people receiving care

  • Best practice and research projects

  • Exclusive preview of the pilot training programme around older LGBT people's needs

  • Launch of the Take Pride In Ageing (TPIA) Accreditation Scheme
