Do you enjoy singing? Have you thought about joining a choir? Why not join Cheshire's new friendly LGBT+ choir? We are holding a free introductory session open to anyone with an interest in singing. There is no obligation to join and there is no audition. We are setting up this exciting new group to give people the experience of singing in a group. We welcome a cross section of voice ranges, abilities and experience. As with anything the more you put in the more you get out.

LGBT+ Film Screening: Cabaret

Sunday 12th November, 2.00pm museum opens, 2.30pm screenings. Weaver Hall Museum, 162 London Road, Northwich CW9 8AB

Bob Fosse uses the decadent and vulgar cabaret to mirror German society sliding toward the Nazis. Michael York plays a British writer who comes to Berlin in the early 1930s. He makes the acquaintance of flamboyant entertainer Sally Bowles (Liza Minnelli). Sally works at the Kit Kat Klub, a Berlin cabaret where each night the androgynous Master of Ceremonies introduces a jazz "girlie show" to his debauched audience. Rated 15.

LGBT+ Film Screening: The Birdcage

Sunday 3rd December, 2.00pm museum opens, 2.30pm screenings. Weaver Hall Museum, 162 London Road, Northwich CW9 8AB

A hilarious version of La Cage Aux Folles, is great fun, with the comic geniuses of Robin Williams and Nathan Lane. Lane is Albert, a drag performer who has lived for years with Armand, owner of The Birdcage, where Albert performs. Armand has a son, who wants to marry the daughter of a conservative politician. In order for that to occur, they have to 'de-gay' their lives. Rated 15, contains some strong language.
